COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

As COVID-19 cases increase in both the Niagara Region as well as Ontario, it is important to ensure the safety of my clients, myself and our families.  Therefore, using the guidelines developed by  our College (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario) and Public Health, the following changes have been made to keep everyone safe and healthy.  Please read carefully and contact me if you have any questions.  

The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario have specified that:

"Massage Therapy Treatment must only be provided when the

anticipated benefits of treatment outweigh the risks to the client and the RMT."

  • If this is your FIRST VISIT since COVID-19, you will need to complete a HEALTH INTAKE FORM attached to your Confirmation Email online prior to your appointment. 

  • You are required to complete the online COVID-19 Screening that is included in your Reminder Email sent the day before your appointment.  If this Screening is not completed by 10 pm the evening prior to your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled.  

  • Do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This is to prevent contact between clients and it provides me with enough time to thoroughly clean and disinfect between clients. If you arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment, please stay in your car until the appropriate time.  The door to the Studio will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to your appointment at which time you can enter the Studio.  

  • I will be enforcing a strict Start and Stop Time Policy. This will allow me adequate time to clean and disinfect between each client and prevent client crossover. If you are late to your appointment, your treatment time will be reduced and you will be charged the full treatment fee as booked.

  • Use washroom facilities at home prior to your appointment if possible.

  • Leave all unnecessary items in your car and come alone to your appointment. 

  • Only the client receiving the treatment will be permitted to enter the premises. 

  • All clients must arrive to their appointment wearing a clean, well-fitted mask (disposable or reusable) that must be worn throughout the entire treatment. If you do not have access to a mask, I can provide one for you for $1.00 per mask. 

  • A mask must be worn at all times. If you are unable to wear a mask, please delay your appointment. If you refuse to wear a mask upon arrival, you are responsible to pay for your appointment as scheduled.

  • There will be a sanitizing station upon entering where you will be required to sanitize your hands.

  • Upon your arrival, you will undergo a COVID-19 Screening prior to your treatment. If you are showing any signs of COVID before or during your treatment, the treatment will be terminated and you will be instructed with regards to next steps.

  • All payments must be made prior to departure using tap on credit/debit.

  • A strict cancellation policy will be enforced.  All appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the treatment fee.  All same-day and no-show appointments will be charged 100% treatment fee.  All fees must be paid in full a minimum of 24 hours prior to the next appointment.
